Future of Story Telling Summit
I participated in the Future of Story Telling (FoST)'s annual summit held at Snug's Harbor on Staten Island. The summit is held annually by FoST to celebrate new and innovative ways of modern story telling as well as highlighting the importance of the stories we choose to tell, today now more than ever.
Keeping in tone with the "collegiate" theme of the event, I played the part of a college student (not too far from recent life), and shepherded participants around various workshops and sessions. I was also able to sit in on a multitude of fascinating workshops, including the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC)'s motion-capture workshop, demonstrating technology they had used for their recent production of The Tempest.
I also low key had eye contact with one of my favorite comedians, Hasan Minhaj and my life will truly never be the same.
